HK Getaway at the W!

I love to escape to Hong Kong it’s one the easiest way to just escape!  I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to come to HK since I was a child and it has always been a place filled with happy memories of eating, shopping and fun!

I love how super efficient it is to fly to HK! Sometimes it takes longer to get to QC! LOL!

Nix and I flew in for a weekend to celebrate a dear friends special birthday.  We all decided to stay at the W and since I have never stayed at the W Hong Kong before I wanted to try it.  Here is the website http://www.w-hongkong.com   Nix is usually in charge when it comes to choosing and booking our hotels and he is quite amazing at getting us the best deals.  We took an early morning flight and it no time we were in HK.  I love the efficiency and ease of getting into HK that I wish one day we too can have this in the Philippines.

We checked in the W and went straight to the room which quite beautiful and surprisingly spacious.  I loved the bathroom as it had a private space for the lavatory and the shower.  The whole hotel is really quite beautiful with lots of design elements that would make any design aficionado smile.

I am a creature of habit and when I am in HK I end up eating at the same places and shopping in the same areas and our first few hours were all about getting my bearings and going to our usual haunts which really changes each time I visit.  Take a look at my HK get away and enjoy the photos!

I had to eat at Din Tai Fung when I am in HK! It's my absolute favourite!
