The red carpet season is upon us. I completely missed the Golden Globe awards because I was travelling! Felt a bit bad about it as I was not able to do my annual red carpet review so I am trying to do a bit of catch up with the SAG. It’s not the most popular award show here in the Philippines primarily because it’s an industry giving body and not as publicised as the Globes or the Oscars. I personally love the fashion at any of these events so just like all lovers of fashion I come to enjoy and give my 2 cents and join the peanut gallery! LOL! Here is what I think of what the stars wore!

Amanda Seyfried wearing Zac Posen- I love this designers work! He has this old world design philosophy that i really admire. I also love the colour and the subtlety of the tiered flare made Ms. Seyfried seem taller.

Anne Hathaway looks odd in her Giambattista Valli- Personally I am bored with the transparent skirt thing which was so many seasons ago. I mean with a star of this magnitude she could have pushed the more current trends.

Ben Affleck's movie is getting so much awards I felt bad to have missed it. I love how this man is ageing so well.

Claire Danes looks like a classic contrabida in this Givenchy gown. The graphic detailing on the skirt is quite cool!

Hmmmm? I am not loving the velvet brown tuxedo that Eddie Redmayne is wearing…..He looks like a second hand car salesman! Sorry! A deep green/loden shade might have worked more with his ginger hair.

I like the sweet colour but Ellie Kemper in Reem Acra reminds me of a really chic mother of the bride! LOL!

Some Asian yum in the house courtesy of Harry Shum Jr.- The suit is a bit big for him a bit of tapering would have made this look extra hot!!!

Jayma Mays……Looks thick and shapeless in this gown. A bit of a nip on the waist would have done her wonders.

Jennifer Garner in a classic Oscar dela Renta gold number. I would have loved to have seen some coloured accessories on this one to make it more current.

Jessica Chastain this is such a better dress than the Golden Globe one. this Alexander McQueen is more classic than their usual stuff but it's classic so you cannot go wrong.

My favourite dress so far was worn by Juliana Marguiles - Chado Ralph Rucci- I am such a huge fan of this designers work!

Kelly Osbourne I am really inspired by her weight loss! This gladiator gown works so well on her. Great choice!

I LOVe Kerry Washington she looks so stunning in her Rodarte gown! I love how great design really makes someone as tiny as her look six feet tall!

Maria Menounos Who is this lady again? The gown is definitely a 90's throwback….. not so sure if it's time for it though.

I love this dress! I think those looking for a prom gown could find Marion Cottilard's Christian Dior gown a winner! I like the colour as well! It's unique.

Michelle Dockery looking very chic in Chado Ralph Rucci- Satin is really a tricky fabric choice…but I love the sheer details none the less.

This is a such a super dress on Nicole Kidman! Vivienne Westwood texture, sheer, sheen is design perfection.

She looks so beautiful! Nina Dobrev wearing Elie Saab. I love the colour and that sheer panel makes it so young.

Why does Rose Byrne looks so afraid? Her Valentino gown looks really fresh and lovely. Spring personified. I don't like her hair though as it looks like it was photoshopped on her head.

Viola Davis is such a gorgeous woman this Monique Lhuillier gown's colour is so perfect for her skin tone!
I just think that these people literally have an army to get them prepared so I cannot sometimes understand why they make funny choices? Anyway as they say that’s Hollywood Will keep this short and start on my colour commentary. Enjoy the entry.
HUGS,
RAJO!
