La Cabrera-Palermo Soho!

It would be unfair of me not to write about my top Parilla experience in Buenos Aires.  It’s like going to Tokyo and not having sushi?!  After researching on various websites, guide books and food blogs my friends and I narrowed it down to Lo de Jesus and La Cabrera.  It was a friday night and we did not have any reservations, however our hotel was just in the area so we decided to try our luck at both.  Both restaurants were packed to the brim. Both having long lines.  However me and my friends were not daunted so we added our names to both and waited for the call.

L de Jesus was one of our choices.

We had a nice bottle of champagne at a nearby bar and eventually Sandy was clever enough to get us a beautiful table at La Cabrera. http://www.parrillalacabrera.com.ar Because we were so hungry we ordered up a feast!  Almost all imaginable part of the cow was on our plate. Expertly paired with a beautiful bottle of Malbec.

I liked it's interiors.

Sadly it was so busy that evening that we did not get to try it.

The menu.

Happily we ended up in La Cabrera.

Half of my gang would leave us tomorrow and half would be exploring other parts of South America. So in many ways this was our farewell dinner.  I was sad but I know that we will have many adventures more in the future.  I am deeply grateful that I have lovely friends who share that same things I love and have been there supporting and loving me for a long time.  Just wanted to express my heart felt thanks!

Check them out here.
