Even if I have been to Buenos Aires twice already there are still so many things to see and experience. I had such an amazing time the first time that I visited that I could not wait to see it all over again. My gang and I had pretty much a full day that began with a beautiful breakfast at the hotel. The Malabia hotel breakfast spread is filled with beautiful breads, fruit and any kind of egg dish you can think of. It really is one of the best deals ever.
We then moved on the the La Boca area which is one of the most colourful places in BA. What began as a poor port town has evolved into a major tourist attraction. I loved the energy of the place with all it’s colourful homes and street cafe’s. What was really inspiring was the quality and quantity of street art that was so evident in the area.
We then moved on towards the city to visit the famous Casa Rosada. This is where Eva Peron gave her historical speech that cemented her as one of the most important person in Argentine history. We all could not belt out “Don’t cry for me Argentina” from the top of our lungs while we were there. Gosh! We are really a sad cliche’! LOL! We then walked up to this beautiful restaurant called Cafe Tortoni http://www.cafetortoni.com.
Our table was in the the back in front of the private dining area which looked like a library. I really enjoyed the place and my imagination literally went wild with what could have been discussed at the very table we were eating Lunch on. So when in Buenos Aires. Check out La Boca, Casa Rosada and eat lunch at Cafe Tortoni. Remember that.

HI Tracy! How are you? Thank you for dropping by my blog! I appreciate the comment! I have never been to CUBA but I am certain it’s very beautiful. From the photos though CUBA looks so much like the Philippines. Take care and hope to see you around.

I’m just curious how Cuba was preserved into the 1950′s since th economic embargo, but must a real blast from the past! ^_^
