Anna & Tom’s Wedding!

The main reason why were here in Phuket is the wedding of our dear friends Anna & Tom!  You will never ever meet a couple so perfect for each other.  They kept the wedding really small and to have been invited is really such an honour so  we made sure that we would be there for the festivities.  The wedding was to happen on Surin beach a bit more “peaceful” than patong!  We moved out of Patong and headed straight to the couples villa.  The minute I walked in I was drawn to the amazing views!

 

 

 

Anna & Tom prepared a beautiful casual welcome lunch and we all caught up.  We then moved to our own amazing villa which was one of the highlights of this trip.  It was so beautiful and relaxing that most of us did not even bother to go out.  We literally just chilled in this villa which was really more like a mansion as it had around 10 rooms! We then moved on to dinner on the beach and lit these “wish lamps” for the couple.  I really liked how they looked but apparently they are quite dangerous.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The very next day was the actual wedding so we all just stayed put at the villa and had a beautiful lunch prepared by the Filipina housekeeper which made me feel happy.  She even knew how to prepare mango with sticky rice which she says is exactly like how we prepare “BIKO”  LOL!   The pool was just gorgeous so we had to spend at least several hours there before preparing for the wedding.

 

 

 

 

The wedding was held on Surin beach where there was not a dry tear in the house as Anna arrived looking ravishing in a  strapless multi layered silk organza piece that just looked magical on her.  The ceremony actually took only around 20 minutes and after Tom kissed his bride an avalanche of bubbly greeted everyone!  Leave it to Anna to have bubbles overflowing at her wedding!  She truly is our friend!  LOL!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We then moved into the restaurant where we had more cocktails before sitting down to enjoy an exquisite Thai banquet filled with all the best that Thai cuisine can offer.  One of my highlight in the wedding was our friends from all over the world gathering together to sing for Tom & Anna.  It was a touching moment as we sang ” More than words” to the couple.  After that Leo who was our host for the evening introduced a special video capturing the many special moments of Tom & Anna’s love life and then we all started to dance!  LOL!  Anhtai & Bob were our flown in  ”DJ’s” and together they did an awesome job!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We partied on till the small hours of the morning  not only  celebrating Tom and Anna’s wedding but  celebrating true friendship.  To Tom & Anna my congratulations and best wishes.  May you have a long and happy marriage filled with children, love, bliss, respect and joy!  I love you guys so very much!
