New York City Night Out!

Back to NEW YORK!  It is very rare that my friends for the last  25 plus years of my life get to be in one of my favorite cities in the world!  So we had to take full advantage of this.  Even if it means having to have very little sleep of even having 2 dinners in one night just to get to see everyone.  It was one of those wet spring days that just covered the city with this cool mist.  I had to see my “shows” on broadway and I have to recommend to all you this musical called once.   Check this little video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTC9rwnoB4I

I really loved the movie and I am so happy that the play respected the soul and spirit of the film but added new nuances and fresh staging.   I particularly loved the “transitions” from one scene to the next, I guess you have to see it to find out what I mean.  The show has the most most Tony award nominations this year!  So go and watch it!

After the play we ran to meet our friends at the Meat Packing district for some dinner and a bit of drinks.  We then took them to theStandard Beer Garden and caught up with each other.  After a few drinks I knew that my girls wanted a night out so we headed to a couple of places before deciding on the Industry.  I like the Industry as it is like Vanilla!  I mean everyone likes vanilla right?  LOL!  Check their website here. http://www.industry-bar.com/#!about-page

Industry is always fun any night but most specially when the “girls” come out!  These “girls” are so wickedly cool!  One of them was like 8 feet tall!  OMG!  I have never seen anyone as tall as her!  Check it out!  Just wanted to share with all of you my lovely NYC night out!
